27.01.2022 – Early Rain member constantly harassed—forcibly removed from home
On the afternoon of January 24, Brother Jia Xuewei of Early Rain Covenant Church in Chengdu went to his apartment with his landlord, a female Christian of his church, to pick up his personal possessions. He hasn’t lived here for eight months. The door was vandalized, and the keyhole was sealed with glue. When he tried to open the door, the apartment management office staff called the police. Several police officers came from Jinjiang District. The landlord explained the situation to the officers, but they still summoned Brother Jia Xuewei to the police station under the guise of “suspicion of picking quarrels and provoking trouble.” Continue reading…

Chu Qingming (pseudonym), male, born in 1971, a resident of the eastern province of Shandong, was a Christian of The Church of Almighty God (CAG). He was arrested by the CCP police in December 2020 for his belief in Almighty God, and later was sentenced to 4 years in prison. He died during detention at the age of 50. Continue reading…
20.01.2022 – Christian dies of illness from mistreatment in custody after arrested for his faith
Hu Zhibin (pseudonym), male, born in 1953, was a Christian of The Church of Almighty God (CAG) in the central province of Hubei. In October 2018, Hu was arrested by the CCP police for his faith in Almighty God and was subjected to torture during interrogation. When he was held in the detention house, he was mistreated, and suffered illness without treatment, which caused his condition to be worsening. He died of illness on November 7, 2021 in prison. The 80-year-old man from Liaoning province had spent years in prison and was repeatedly tortured. Liu Xiyong, an 80-year-old Falun Gong prisoner of conscience, died suspiciously in Dalian’s No. 3 Prison, in Liaoning province, on December 29, 2021. A Jieyang City, Guangdong Province resident was sentenced to 4.5 years for her faith in Falun Gong in late 2020 and transferred to the Guangdong Province Women’s Prison in November 2021.
